Norfolk, VA – Deaf Night Live! Success!!

Over 80 people packed into the back room of the bar and to watch Deaf Night Live, a night of comedy in American Sign Language. Eight people competed for the cash prizes of $300 for first, $100 for second and $50 for third. Everyone laughed all night and had a great time!

I’ve added one of the videos used for the skits here… This is Sorryson Video Relay Service… it’s a bit long sometimes, but then so is waiting for VRS.

DEAF NIGHT LIVE! 04.05.08!

Taking after Saturday Night Live (http://www.nbc.com/Saturday_Night_Live/) the famous late Saturday night variety and comedy show on NBC, DEAF NIGHT LIVE is a live variety show performed in AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE (http://www.aslpro.com/).

The catch??? It’s YOU! The AUDIENCE who will be providing the entertainment! Of course, the funniest skits, jokes, stories, poems, movies*, what-have-yous, could win one of three possible cash prizes for the whole night! $300.00 for first place, $100.00 for second place and $50.00 for third.

 The other catch??? It’s YOU! The AUDIENCE who will be deciding our winners! We will have voting cards for each audience member to cast their votes for the funniest joksters.  Winners will be announced at the end of the night.
